Playlists

How do I see my Playlists?

Go to the Playlists page, by using the navigational drop down in the content management portal.

You can see your list of playlists made available to you here:

1. And see the number of items in each playlist
2. And see the total estimated duration of your playlist
3. And see when your playlist was last modified
4. And search for a specific playlist if you have a lot of playlists to manage.

How do I update my Playlists?

While in the playlist page, click on the name of the playlist you want to access.

When you have accessed a playlist, you can look at the list of items and:

1. Look at the duration of each item
2. Look at the time schedules (if not 24/7), conditions, and start / end dates.
3. Check If any item is expired, there will be a yellow warning.
4. Add a new item from the Media library.
5. Reset or Save changes. When saved, updates are sent to the displays within 1 minute.

You can also change the order items play by dragging them.

Properties of Items in Playlist

If you click on the name of the item in the playlist, you can access its properties, scheduling, and conditions of playback.

Under the Item Properties tab, you can:

• Change the start or end time for videos
• Change the duration for images
• Apply a transition for when the item starts to play
  • The most common transition is called Dissolve and it is simply a fade in.

Under the Scheduling tab, you can:

• Apply start and end dates for playback using Valid range, Valid start, and Valid end .
• Apply one or more Time Schedules that's different than the 24/7 default.

Under the Conditions tab, you can:

• Apply one or more conditions for where the item plays using conditions.
